DR. DIANA KRASKOUSKAYA
Research Associate
Born in Belarus, Diana immigrated in 2006 to complete her BSc degree in molecular biology at the University of Toronto, followed by PhD in chemistry in the Gunning Group. Diana’s field of research interests broadly include molecular recognition encompassing medicinal and supramolecular chemistry.
Diana has specifically conducted a lot of work in the development of metal coordination complexes for the detection of variable phosphorylation motifs, and their application for fluorescence sensing and imaging of disease-relevant proteins and cellular states.
Diana’s research aspirations are to bring innovation to drug discovery through bridging chemical and biological approaches.
