Master's Student

Mariya received her HBSc at the University of Toronto in 2016 with a Specialist in Molecular Biology and a Minor in Chemistry.  She completed both a Research Opportunity Program project and her undergraduate Honour’s Thesis here in the Gunning lab, focused on synthesis.  She continued her research as a Master’s student, designing her own small molecule inhibitor project targeting cancer.

 

Mariya's interests include sushi, movies, and travel.
