Ji received his Bachelor’s degree at University of Toronto Mississauga in 2014. He completed his Honour’s thesis under the supervision of Patrick Gunning in 2014 and continued his research project as a Master’s student. He was involved in the design and synthesis of small molecule inhibitors of STAT3.

 

He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree to develop clinically relevant small molecule inhibitors of STAT3 and STAT5.

 

Ji enjoys playing soccer and travelling.
